On October 3rd, 1990, the Lord granted a six-year-old little girl her greatest wish...a baby sister! Sara was so cute and chubby weighing 10 lbs. 3 ozs. and totaling a whopping 25 inches long.

She was absolutely thrilled when her baby sister came along!
Sara has always been our literalist, keeping the rest of us in stitches. Have you ever tried to discipline a child who is so sincere, yet so funny?!?
Sara had done something to Allison, and Mom was talking to Sara about how her misbehavior affects other people. "Now, Sara...what would you do if you were in her shoes?" We all heard Sara's pitiful reply....."I'd wear my own shoes."
That was the end of that lecture! : )
And then the time Dad and Mom bought her a little turtle stool so she could reach the bathroom sink. Mom was trying her best to teach her how to step up on it, but to no avail. Finally, Mom said, "Put your feet on it." Sara promptly plopped down on the floor and scooted close enough that her feet were touching the stool. How literal! Someone finally picked her up and stood her on the stool and the concept clicked! : )
Her 6th birthday
